Counselling offers a safe and confidential space to discuss your concerns with a trained professional. As your therapist, I will guide you in exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, helping you better understand yourself. My role is not to provide advice, but to assist you in discovering your own solutions as I trust you know yourself best.
I work with adults (18+) facing a variety of challenges, including anger, anxiety, apathy, depression, overwhelm, relationship difficulties, rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD), trauma, self-esteem, self-harm, shame, suicidal ideation, grief and loss.
In my work as a counsellor at The Help Hub, a low-cost counselling service based in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, I provided therapeutic support to individuals facing a wide range of mental health and emotional challenges.
I have worked with clients from numerous backgrounds, offering a safe and confidential space where they can explore their feelings, gain insight into their experiences, and work towards healing and personal growth. I have supported clients in developing coping strategies, improving self-awareness, and making positive changes in their lives.
As an integrative counsellor with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, I practice humanistic therapies including Gestalt, Person-Centred and Transactional Analysis. I believe each person is unique, and I customise my approach to meet your needs.
Each session lasts 50-minutes. You can expect a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself freely. We'll work together to explore your thoughts and feelings in a collaborative manner, and we'll also discuss what you are hoping to gain from counselling.
The length of your therapy will be tailored to your individual needs. I've had the privilege of working with clients who have benefited from just 6 sessions, as well as those who require ongoing support over a longer period.
